Every day, first responders and veterans face silent battles. The Ride to Fight Suicide is a community-powered event committed to breaking the stigma around mental health and suicide in these high-stress professions.
All proceeds directly benefit programs that support the mental wellness of Virginia’s veterans and first responders. These programs are Mission 22, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Virginia First Responder Support Services.
Virginia First Responder Support Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting first responders affected by mental health challenges and suicide. It provides resources, advocacy, education, and community to those in need.
Mission 22 is a non-profit focused on combating veteran suicide, raising awareness about mental health issues, and offering support programs, including outreach, peer support, and treatment options, aiming to reduce the staggering suicide rate among veterans.
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a national non-profit organization committed to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP focuses on education, research, advocacy, and support for individuals and families affected by suicide, working toward preventing future tragedies.
All three organizations work to reduce stigma, raise awareness, and provide critical resources to those at risk.
